SHADOW GIANTS

WHAT IS A SHADOW DRAFT?

It's a pretty simply concept that I first found out about from John Sickels back when MinorLeagueBall.com was a thing.

The idea is simple. Pick a team (I chose the Giants) and follow their real draft. When they make a selection, you make your own. Do that for each round of the draft and you have yourself a 'Shadow Draft'. The players you select become part of your 'Shadow Organization'. As you do more and more drafts your 'Shadow Organization' starts to take a life of it's own. Pretty soon you have something that resembles a real life baseball organization.
